I bought this product for the first time on Saturday as a buy two product get one free. I decided to use this as my freebie. I just used the mousse product for the first time tonight. I have long, thick hair that gets weighted down, causing my hair to lay flat on scalp. I bought this product to give some volume on top. By the appearance of my first use, I like the product. It gave me the volume I needed. I just now wish there was a machine that you dial in your preferred style and bamo, you style is produced. Maybe some genious will make an invention. Because, I never seem to be able to replicate what the stylists perform in the salons. Until then, yes, I am satisfied with this mousse product and would recommend for thick hair also. Thanks

I normally hate mousses but...

love this one. This is my most recent Kerastase purchase and I'm so glad I got it. My stylist showed me how to use it to just get a decent amount of volume while I'm blow drying and flat ironing and it works perfectly. I should say, I'm not a fan of HUGE volume or like "the bump" or anything like that, so I don't know if it will take you to that level, but just something slight and this is perfect. I use a little less than the recommended 'orange size' dollop on my hair before i blow dry and i can really tell the difference. I'm actually glad I went with the mousse instead of the spray for once.

Complete waste of my money. All other Kerastase products have my vote, but this one is useless.

love that mousse!

I'm hooked on Mousse Volumactive, and all Kerastase products for that matter. I've tried everything to give my hair a little boost, and this is by far the best volumizing product I've ever used.

Fantastic product to blow dry hair with!

My hair is fine and flat, and it makes my hair look fabulous when I use with the hair dryer.
