Matthew Morris, a Colorado native, began his career as a makeup artist and made the transition into hair styling. He quickly rose to the top of his game; jumpstarted by an article in Allure Magazine and the recognition as “Editorial Stylist of the Year” by the North American Hairstyling Awards in 2005.
Matthew and his acclaimed salon have been voted Best Stylist/Salon for the past five years by Denver's 5280 Magazine and distinguished by Elle Magazine editors as the Best Salon in Colorado in 2008. Matthew is a staple figure at New York Fashion Week and has styled for numerous designers and supermodels for the past 14 seasons. He was requested by politicians and celebrities for his services during the 2008 Democratic National Convention. His celebrity fans include Rosario Dawson, Paris Hilton, and Idina Menzel.

At Matthew Morris Salon we do a zillion Oleo Relax Slim, Oleo Fusion, and Aqua- Oleum treatments. Our Colorado weather is extremely dry and everyone here suffers from dry hair in serious need of moisture. Being a very dry state we suggest to many clients to use the Oleo Relax Masque or Oleo Relax Slim Masque for daily use at home.
For my clients with that ultra kinky, tight, coarse and frizzy curl who want to collapse, smooth, and tame their mane or wear it naturally curly, I tell them to shampoo with Bain Oleo Relax, use a wide toothed comb and comb through Oleo Relax Slim Masque, rinse, then squeeze - don’t rub – the excess moisture out of the hair with a towel. After this, run Oleo Relax Slim Crème and Mousse Nutri-sculpt through with your hands, and then allow to dry naturally WITHOUT TOUCHING IT. This will give beautiful, shiny, rope like curls to an out of control fro.
For a perfectly shiny, glass-like surface, I love to flatiron or curl with Vernis Nutri-sculpt and Voile Oleo Relax. The combination of the very fine and light holding spray and the shine enhancer adds incredible shine and definition to the hair when sprayed with one pump of each from 12 inches away on each section before heat is applied. When flatironing, the hair is straight and glossy without any weight. When curling, perfect definition is added and the smallest amount of hold is added to the curls. Vernis Nutri-sculpt is a great way to finish just about any style by adding unbelievable shine and a small amount of hold.
For our clients with thick, curly manes, the Oleo Relax Slim Creme and Oleo Relax Elixir are excellent to bring out natural shine and smoothness. It cuts down drying time immensely, and one can get amazing smoothness by just air drying.
