I got this because Bain Stain 3 had been discontinued and since my hair was not as dry I decided to go with this one. This did indeed make my hair soft. A good subsitute.

Best moisturizing shampoo
I'm a devoted Kerastase user, but this product still impressed me. I can't believe it's taken me this long to try out this shampoo - it has literally changed the feel, texture, and look of my hair. Even my ends stay moisturized now (which is no easy feat considering that it's long, regularly highlighted, blowdried, and a victim of several days of dry shampoo a week). Highly recommended for hair that you can't seem to moisturize.

I love this shampoo. My hair tends to acquire build up between salon visits. This is the only shampoo I've been able to find that keeps that from happening, and keeps my hair feeling like I just left the salon.
