Rated 1 out of 5 by from Banish this new formula...horrible-ness ensues! nope, nope, nope! horrible in SO many ways. New formula is clear not the creamy old formula. New version does not create any suds, nor does it clean your hair. You have to use at least 3-4 times the amount in order to get any minimal suds, but even that amount only works on a very small portion of your hair and not the entire head. Super bad. Using this much wasn't even enough to clean a short (above shoulder) hair length. So terrible. Not sure how this passed any product QA. Seems like a real miss on the company's part. Also seems like a miss to not tell customers the formula was changed. sadness ensues....:(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What happened? I just absolutely loved the old formula. It was my go-to, and nothing else compared to it. My hairdresser saw lots of new hair growth and my fiancé has commented how different my hair felt with the old formula. While I see that customer service tries very hard to redirect customers to a different product, they seem to miss the mark that the old formula made the hair fuller because it unclogged pores. How many reviews and loss of customers will it take for Kerastase and L'Oreal to listen to its customers?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Becky with the Not Good Hair - bring back old GL Another customer disappointed with the new formula. I used the old GL for almost 10 years and nothing brought my fine, thin hair to life like it. This new formula leaves my hair limp and weighed down. It's awful. I am so sad to have to try and find something to replace this. It's such a shame they changed the formula when what they had was so great. I will not be buying this again. For anyone who loves the GL don't waste your money on this new formula.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Liked old formula better I absolutely loved the old formula of this shampoo, no other shampoo changed my hair the way it did so I didn't mind paying the higher cost for the quality of shampoo. However this new formula has made my hair revert to its limp and thinning ways and the cost is definitely not justifiable. Very disappointing. I miss the old formula and am not looking forward to the trial and error of finding a new shampoo to love.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back GL! Another vote to bring back the original GL. My hair is actually having an adverse reaction to the new formulation. And it smells terrible too. The old formula worked like magic to make my hair thicker and stronger. My hair sheds when I use this product. Feels like a very cheap shampoo in every way. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD GL. PLEASE....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another cry for the old formula! Even after reading the negative reviews, I decided to give this a chance. I'm sorry I did. It left my hair such a dry and tangled mess that I lost even more hair than usual trying to detangle it. Not a great quality in a shampoo geared toward people with thinning hair. The old formula was fantastic, but this is a mess. So happy my salon has a very generous return policy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Epic fail. Cost savings project? Well, L'Oréal, you've blundered. What happened to the old formula? It escapes my imagination why you would change formula for the current one, Judging by age other reviews were all wondering the same thing. This change can't be the result of consumer research. I can only imagine it was a cost savings or margin enhancement project. Or maybe a sourcing change. But I have to leave Kerastase now. The experience is so poor.
