The most important thing with blonde hair is to keep it healthy. “Lightening the
hair can make it more fragile,” says Parisian hairdresser Hovig Etoyan. “When
you’re at home, follow your Blond Absolu routine recommended for your hair
type.” That means daily care with a Blond Absolu shampoo and conditioner, plus

Etoyan cautions faux blondes about styling. “Heat styling tools can make your
hair more fragile,” he says. Quarantine is a good time to give your blonde a break from
heat styling, since your work and social engagements are limited. When you do
need your blonde hair to look stunning for a selfie or Zoom call, Etoyan says it’s
okay to pick up the blowdryer or waving iron—just make sure you take precautions.
“For blonde hair, I recommend using the Cicaplasm Hair Primer, which protects
your hair up to 446°F—you only need a little bit.”
